This asymmetric black dress is made from peau de soie. The dress provides the wearer with the ability to use a hypnotherapy technique called Neuro-Linguistic Programming. This technique, also known as anchoring, allows the wearer to create an association between a physical stimulation and an emotion, similar to the way a certain smell can remind you of grandma's house and provide a sense of security. Similarly, one can train oneself to feel calm and confident using a physical sensation. A small vibrating motor, hidden in the shoulder, activated with a button in the cuff, can create this sensation in the wearer. By setting off the vibration, the wearer can create a positive sensation, helping to alleviate stage fright, depression, or anxiety.
Rotating Flower Gown
This asymmetric sleeveless burgundy dress is made from a crepe back satin. The dress is made to be worn with a coordinating custom-made single earring, which measures the wearer’s heartrate. The earring is connected to a small vibrating motor in the shoulder which will vibrate to alert the wearer if the heart rate drops or spikes to dangerous levels. The right-side shoulder strap features a fabric rose surrounding a hidden motor. The rose spins at three speeds, one of which is connected to the heartbeat; the others are decorative and can be controlled by the wearer via a hidden switch under the shoulder.
Social Communication Gown & Clutch
This sleeveless black dress is made from crepe back satin with lace side panels extending from under the arm to the hem. The dress is meant to be worn with a light-up clutch, which is used as a communication tool for a wearer with an illness such as chronic fatigue syndrome, social anxiety, etc. Hidden under the lace is the remote control for the clutch. Before a social engagement, the wearer can choose a color as a signal with their date. This way the wearer can change the color of the clutch and silently indicate to their partner that they are feeling ill and ready to leave the situation.
Light Up Dress and Protective Jacket
This look is a combination of sleeveless dress and coordinating jacket. The dress features a pegged skirt and is made from black crepe back satin. The bodice is custom-made lace with hand-sewn LEDs that shine through it. The dress sports a double-sided invisible zipper, giving it an adjustable slit in the back. The accompanying jacket provides security with style: when turned on, a distance detector in the back alerts the wearer to someone approaching from behind. A small vibrating motor will activate and light will shine from the cuff. This provides the wearer with a sense of security before entering or leaving the event.
